Jack and Mikayla Crisp’s third child is due any day, with Mikayla stepping out heavily pregnant to the club’s Copeland Trophy awards night on Friday.
She had a bag in their room at Crown ready to go in case she went into labour. Her official due date is this Sunday.
Norm Smith Medallist Bobby Hill and his partner Georgia Devlin are expecting their second son in March.
Hill and Devlin have a son, Bobby Junior, who will be two in December.
“Another father-son,’’ Hill said.
A proud Devlin added: “I still can’t believe it. All his hard work has paid off.”
Steele Sidebottom and his wife Alisha Edwards are expecting their second child in February.
The couple, who married in Daylesford last October, have a daughter named Matilda.
Coach Craig McRae and his wife Gabrielle have already celebrated baby joy, welcoming a daughter Maggie on grand final morning last Saturday.
McRae captured his perfect weekend by posing beside his newborn resting in the Magpies’ 16th Premiership Cup and wrapped in a club scarf.
“How special this moment is,’’ he said.
“I’m wiping the tears away for two hours and then I’ve got to go to a grand final. It’ll be a day that’ll never be repeated.”
