Trent Cotchin left red-faced after Dancing with the Stars face plant leaves a mark

Trent Cotchin has been left red-faced — and Sonia Kruger highly amused — after his Dancing with the Stars partner left a lipstick mark on his pants.

Former footy star Trent Cotchin was caught in an awkward moment with his partner on Dancing with the Stars on Sunday night.

Cotchin was a standout performer with Jess Raffa and is now competing in the show’s grand finale next week.

He headed over to chat with co-host Sonia Kruger as they prepared for the judges’ scores.

It soon became apparent that Raffa’s lipstick had rubbed off on to Cotchin’s pants in the crotch area.

“Have you got lipstick, that’d be an odd place. Oh my gosh! Can we?” Kruger said.

Cotchin interjected: “I was already awkward, now I’m extremely awkward.”

The judges found it hilarious as Kruger asked if it was from the death drop lift.

The pair had pulled off numerous lifts and difficult drops in the routine.

“So you’ve kind of face planted?” Kruger said.

Cotchin replied: “Anyway, moving on Sonia, thank you.”

During the performance the Tigers premiership captain had taken off his shirt and had looked towards the judges.

“I was staring down the barrel with Craig (Revel Horwood),’’ Cotchin said.

“I’d like to try that death drop, darling,’’ Craig replied.
