She will wear a gown by Kyha Studios for the intimate occasion with family and friends.

Jack, the son of Carlton legend Stephen, had to race to his dad’s place on Sunday afternoon to get a new tie.

“My tie was dirty and I had to go to mum and dad’s to get one of dad’s old ones,” he said.

Sam Docherty arrived with his foot in a brace after undergoing toe surgery last week.

He and wife Nat will head to Noosa for the Silvagni wedding, followed by the McGovern wedding in Adelaide.

Forward Harry McKay was absent due to his sister’s wedding in Italy.

Blues captain Patrick Cripps just returned from a surfing trip to the Maldives with his brothers.

“It was great and I also went to the grand final,” he said.

“I’m so proud of our season and it’s nice to get together now and celebrate.”

Wife Monique said the couple would return to Perth soon to see family and then attend some upcoming weddings of Cripps’ teammates.

Pies captain bursting with pride

Collingwood’s premiership players were still in awe of their success as they gathered for the Copeland Trophy at Crown.

The club’s best and fairest awards night boasted 1700 people across two rooms celebrating the club’s feat in claiming a 16th premiership last Saturday.

Captain Darcy Moore, alongside partner Dee Salmin, said he was still bursting with pride.

“It makes me really proud, as an organisation there’s been so much change over the last two years, it’s been really cool,” he said.

“The way the team played they showed so much character and pride and so much selflessness.”
