Will Lushsux keep goading US rapper 50 Cent?
MOST Melburnians would know — or have seen — the street art of Lushsux. Well, the notoriously “shy” artist, dubbed as Melbourne’s Banksy, has gone and upset 50 Cent. Page 13 asked Lushsux himself if he would keep goading the US rapper.

HE has been dubbed Melbourne’s Banksy and, unless you have been living under a rock, most Melburnians would know — or have seen — the street art of Lushsux. Just don’t call him, or his work that.
Self-described as the “world’s first meme artist” on social media, Lushsux has painted the likes of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, to Jerry Seinfeld.
Pauline Hanson and Robert Doyle have also been featured on Melbourne walls, along with king of spin Shane Warne downing a frothy.

Politicians also get thrown in the mix with memorable murals of Donald Trump, his wife Melania, and Hillary Clinton.
So just who is the Melbourne street artist who has drawn the global ire of everyone from Taylor Swift to this week’s happy customer, 50 Cent?
That is still up in the air, but the artist who goes only by his street name Lushsux told Page 13 he likes to remain anonymous because he is “shy”.
In a riddle-like interview, Lushsux says he doesn’t try to make people’s blood boil, it just happens.
“I don’t try to get under anyone’s skin. All I’m doing is trying to raise awareness about plastic straws and how they are killing turtles. It’s a noble cause.”
All righty then.
Back to 50 Cent, who was just as riddle-like in his criticism of Lushsux’s latest work.
Asked if he would keep goading the US rapper as he suggested on Instagram by painting a rainbow unibrow on him, Lushsux seemingly backed down.
“I don’t know if it’s a good idea to paint the rainbow unibrow on 50 Cent as he is a former violent criminal who seems angry with me.”
Lushsux says he chooses his subjects from viral images or Instagram’s explore feed.
What does he say to his critics?
“Thanos car. that’s all I have to say to the haters.”
