Andrew O’Keefe on the chasers … again

ALMOST 10 years after his drunken gutter antics were filmed by punters in Chapel St comes more footage of larrikin TV host Andrew O’Keefe getting more than familiar with a fan after one too many.

ANDREW O’Keefe is at it again. Almost 10 years after his drunken gutter antics were filmed by punters with phones outside Chapel St nightclub Revolver comes more footage of the Seven star looking, well, poleaxed during a night on the tiles.

The vision being shopped around newsrooms at a price shows the larrikin TV host has clearly had one too many as he gets more than familiar with a fan, who seems to enjoy the lipsmacking attention.

C’mon, who hasn’t got a little pie-eyed and had a party pash … or two?

As Magpies star Dane Swan has oft lamented, bring back the old Nokia bricks without cameras.

O’Keefe was in Tasmania when he was caught by those pesky mobiles. Seven bigwigs have also seen the vision and are said to be none-too-impressed with his latest antics.

A network insider says O’Keefe is a heartbeat away from being called into the principal’s office for a wigging if the behaviour continues.

O’Keefe quietly split with Eleanor, his wife of 18 years and the mother of his three children, at the end of last year.

He also announced in December he was leaving Weekend Sunrise to spend more time with his family.

O’Keefe has recently been spied doing “laps on Chaps” again and carousing on the chase.

Perhaps, The Chase quizmaster is just getting into character for Melbourne’s stint of the show on the life and times of rocker uncle Johnny O’Keefe at The Palms at Crown next month.

Uncle Johnny was indeed the Wild One.

One TV insider drolly told Page 13: “He’s been getting into that character for 20 years now.”

Apple. Family tree.
