Legendary Melbourne nightclub business Boutique is for sale and a dispute is brewing between its current owner and a business partner.
The Prahran nightspot became an after-dark institution for a generation of Australian and international celebrities under the watchful eye of founder and owner Darren Thornburgh.
Thornburgh, known as “Razzle”, was found dead at his property in northern Victoria in November 2017.
The business was then sold to Jonathan Sherren’s LJSM company with Sammy Prosser coming on board as a partner.

The pair, who both have extensive experience in the Melbourne hospitality scene, rebranded and reopened the club last November as The Greville.
The Greville is at the same address that Boutique operated from.
Sherren said on Saturday the business was available for purchase.
“We haven’t officially put it on the market with an agent yet,” he said.
“If someone came to me and offered the right price I would sell it.”
He and Prosser’s business relationship has clearly deteriorated, and Prosser left the day-to-day operations of the club in December.
Prosser said on Saturday he was “at a loss” as to why the business was being sold and confirmed he was seeking legal advice regarding his position.
