Brynne welcomes ‘miracle’ baby girl

Brynne Edelsten has welcomed her “miracle” daughter into the world, but she’s keeping mum on some details of her new life as a single mother.

Melbourne celebrity figure Brynne Edelsten is understood to be embracing motherhood after the safe arrival of her first child.

It is believed Edelsten gave birth to her “miracle” daughter late last week.

Edelsten could not be contacted yesterday and she has yet to confirm the birth of her deeply desired baby on social media.

In a post in December Edelsten described falling pregnant as a miracle as she believed she was unable to conceive a child.

“Miracles do happen & each is another day closer to meeting the love of my life,” she wrote at the time.

Motherhood has always been one of the reality TV star’s greatest hopes.

“I am really so happy. This is my miracle and I can’t wait to meet my little girl,” Edelsten told the Sunday Herald Sun at her sparkly pink themed baby shower in March.

“This is life changing. Just being pregnant has changed my life so much. Before everything was about me, now everything is about her.”

Edelsten has never revealed the identity of the father of her baby and said in a magazine interview in January that she intended to raise her daughter as a single mother.

The gift of a child will start an exciting new chapter in Edelsten’s life.

She has been through some hard and harrowing times since she split from controversial businessman Geoffrey Edelsten in late 2013, including bankruptcy. Her ex-husband died in June last year.

She recently had a number of drug-related charges against her dropped.

Last year she took part in Channel 7’s SAS: Australia.
