The Project’s Peter Helliar has confirmed he is not dead.
Helliar put a ‘proof of life’ pic on Twitter late Friday night of himself having a beer and giving the thumbs up after a bizarre rumour spread on the social media site that he had possibly passed away following a vehicle accident.

His name even started trending on Twitter as fans piled in to ask why his name was trending.
Helliar is very much alive and well and has not been involved in any vehicle mishap.
