Collingwood star Josh Daicos and his fiance Annalise Dalins have invested in their future, purchasing an inner bayside property that they hope will become their “forever home”.
The couple is charting the journey of renovating the four-bedroom, brick, double-fronted home on social media after forking out more than $2m for the abode.
The Instagram account @victoriahouse_ was launched last week with the description: “Built in early 1900s. Currently being renovated @annalisedalins_ & @joshdaicos.”
“Celebrating auction day with our families & our soon to be forever home,” the couple wrote on the page.
“This home has the most gorgeous original structure, unique character & charm! We are pumped to restore her original bones, and add a little bit of spice to complement her heritage. Stay tuned for a COMPLETE reno.”
The house had been in the same family for more than 56 years when it came to market last year.
It was first listed for sale in May 2024 then withdrawn from the market and relisted with a different agent in September 2024.
Realestate.com.au recorded the property being sold in late October last year.
It is becoming quite a thing for couples with profiles to set up social media accounts for properties they are renovating.
Andy Lee and Rebecca Harding are sharing the progress of their massive home project on Instagram, as did former Richmond footy club coach Damien Hardwick and his partner Alexandra Crow when they made over a terrace house in Elwood.
Bec Judd also shares her renovation projects online.
