SANDRA OH: This has been maligned as one of the Worst Dressed of the night but I disagree! I say, if you’re going to pull out all the stops – you may as well do it at the Academy awards. Sequins, jewels and mounds of tulle JAMMED through the Janome. Why not? I think she looks glam.

CYNTHIA ERIVO: I would really have loved this dress without all the bedazzling. I think the cut speaks for itself. I don’t care for the shoes or the rings, but she looks like a million dollars.

SAOIRSE RONAN: The stylist was torn between a magnificent black and gold frock and some hotel curtains from 1974. When in doubt, simply mix and match.

MAYA RUDOLPH: I think this is pretty good for Maya Rudolph who hasn’t historically dazzled me on the red carpet. It’s glamorous and cosy looking to boot!

GAL GADOT: When you get to Spotlight five minutes before closing and have to make do with what’s left in the bargain bin. Absolutely horrendous. Who okayed this?

SALMA HAYEK: This is different for Selma and I daresay lovely. She looks like a Greek Goddess and I for one am here for it.
