Amie Rohan has told of her elation at falling pregnant again after the heartbreak of losing a child.

Six years on from the passing of Willow, the twin of eldest daughter Bella, Rohan is due in April with new partner Jason Todd. Her other daughter, Sadie, turns four next month.

“We’re so excited and so happy,” Rohan said.

“I’m feeling so much elation this entire pregnancy and there’s so many big life changes for us. Sadie has started at kinder and Bella at school and because I’ve felt so well I’m like I can do anything and nothing has really affected me. There’s always flickering emotions of Willow but I’ve done the work and they’re not overwhelming emotions like it may have been a few years ago.

“That’s why I’m so big on working on your traumas because you can come out the other side. Just because you’ve had a hard experience doesn’t mean you can’t get through it.

“Life is ticking along nicely, it’s chaotic and hectic but it’s nice.”

Rohan has previously spoken of going through unimaginable grief when Willow died five hours after birth from a rare condition in 2018.

The influencer said she’s in a good place and this pregnancy had been completely different to the other two.

“I’ve felt the polar opposite than what I’ve felt with the last two, I was sick every day,” she said. “It was not enjoyable but this time that all cleared by about 13, 14 weeks.

“It’s really helped my mindset and my mental health. Every time I see my obstetrician I say it’s like an out-of-body experience.

“With Sadie I just tried to survive the whole pregnancy and make it through.

“I am due mid April so I don’t have too long to go but how much bigger can one get? I keep telling myself it’s my fourth child to make myself feel better.

“I love being pregnant. I feel my most womanly and most wholesome when I’m pregnant.”

Rohan was glowing last week shooting a new campaign for Maude Studio sunglasses with photographer Monika Berry.

She said Todd, a carpenter, had been a beautiful partner so far and they had agreed on some

names for their son or daughter. But marriage wasn’t on the cards yet.

“We do live together,” Rohan said.

“We said now there’s a baby coming let’s throw our eggs into one basket,” Rohan said.

“With everything I’ve been through we’re taking each day as it comes. It’s not something where I need to cement what we are. He’s such a gentleman and everything that’s happened with him is divine timing.

“I said I’d never get married again but who knows, I’m not closed off to the thought of it.”
