Dane Swan, Dr Karl Kennedy top mums’ wishlists for Mother’s Day

Former Collingwood star Dane Swan is an unlikely top pick when it comes to gifts for mum.

Swan is just behind Neighbours star Alan Fletcher atop the list for Mother’s Day personalised video message requests on Memmo.me.

“He may not seem like an obvious choice, but we know Dane is a bit of a character and

people are constantly requesting him for messages to their mum for birthdays and other

events,’’ said Memmo.me Australia general manager Greg Mitchinson.

Fletcher, who plays Dr Karl Kennedy, is outright the most popular, and also across the UK.

“It will be hard to go past Alan Fletcher,’’ Mitchinson said.

“He was immensely popular in the UK last Mother’s Day.

“Given he has a similar following in Australia, I expect this week will be a busy one for him with plenty of Mother’s Day requests.”

The predicted top 10 includes, out of more than 3,000 celebrities on the platform, singer Shannon Noll, former Who Dares Wins host Mike Whitney and Home and Away’s Dan Ewing.
