Bickmore’s ex fuels new couple rumours in cryptic post

Carrie Bickmore’s former partner Chris Walker had poured fuel on the fire the former host of The Project has moved on in a bizarre social media post.

Carrie Bickmore’s ex Chris Walker has added fuel to rumours that the former host of The Project has moved on with her radio co-star via a cryptic Instagram post.

TV executive Walker posted a 2018 promo shot for the Carrie & Tommy radio show to his Instagram feed, showing Tommy Little in a family picture with a pregnant Bickmore, Walker and their two children.

The post, which was not accompanied by a caption, was removed just hours later.

In January Bickmore and Walker both released a statement that they had separated.

There has been speculation about potential romance between Bickmore and Little, who have co-hosted on FOX FM since 2017.

Last year they re-signed with the Hit Network for another four years. Fans have lately been leaving comments that they should get together.

Walker has made few cryptic posts lately, including on his daughter Evie’s 8th birthday earlier this week.

Bickmore finished up on The Project in November last year after 13 years on the program. When she announced her departure Little paid tribute to her as “the best in the business” and that “she lifts up everyone around her”.

Neither Bickmore or Walker, a senior ABC producer, have spoken publicly about their separation.

After Bickmore finished on air she was spotted blowing a kiss to her children and Walker who were watching in the audience.

“It’s with immense sadness that Chris and I have decided to separate,” she wrote on Instagram in January.

“While this is a tough time, our focus is to concentrate on parenting, loving and supporting our three amazing children, Ollie, Evie and Addie with everything we’ve got.

“They are doing great.

“We won’t be making any further comment at this stage.”

The couple took their family on a European sabbatical last year and Little was over there at one point while they continued doing the Carrie & Tommy radio show.

It was during that trip that Walker stripped naked in front of colleagues, wrongly believing he had logged off a Skype call.

Workers were exposed to the confronting images during an online rehearsal meeting for The Weekly television comedy program on May 17.

The Herald Sun was told the incident was witnessed by up to nine people and lasted between 40 seconds and two minutes.

He had been dialling in remotely to carry out his producer commitments for The Weekly.

Walker and Bickmore met on the set of The Project in 2012, two years after the presenter lost her first husband Lange to brain cancer.

Walker became a stepfather to Ollie and they welcomed daughters Evie and Adelaide.
