TV star Carrie Bickmore and her partner, Chris Walker, have split after 11 years together.
The former The Project host made the announcement on social media on Wednesday morning.
‘It’s with immense sadness that Chris and I have decided to separate,’ she wrote on Instagram.
“While this is a tough time, our focus is to concentrate on parenting, loving and supporting our three amazing children, Ollie, Evie and Addie with everything we’ve got.
“They are doing great.
“We won’t be making any further comment at this stage.”
Walker, a senior ABC producer, also posted the same message to his Instagram page.
Bickmore finished up on The Project in November last year after 13 years on the program.
She was spotted blowing a kiss to her children and Walker who were watching in the audience.
The couple met on the set of the show in 2012, two years after the presenter lost her first husband, Greg Lange, to brain cancer.
Walker became a stepfather to Bickmore and Lange’s son, Ollie, and in 2015 the pair welcomed their first child together, daughter Evie.
In 2018, they became parents once more with the arrival of another daughter, Adelaide.
The shocking separation comes after Walker stripped naked in front of colleagues last year, wrongly believing he had logged off a Skype call.
Workers were exposed to the confronting images during an online rehearsal meeting for The Weekly television comedy program on May 17.
The Herald Sun was told the incident was witnessed by up to nine people and lasted between 40 seconds and two minutes.
Mr Walker, who had been enjoying a European sabbatical with Bickmore, had been dialling in remotely to carry out his producer commitments for The Weekly.
It’s believed it was during one of these links — between the end of rehearsals and the taping of the show — that the incident happened.
The split annoucement comes eight months and one day after Walker’s exposure.
Bickmore was born in Adelaide in 1980 and moved to Perth at age two.
She went on to study journalism at Curtin University of Technology and started her career as a newsreader on 92.9FM in Perth.
She won her big television break on variety show Rove Live in 2006, ultimately winning the 2010 Logie Award for Best New Female Talent for her work on Rove and The Project.
She went on to claim the 2015 Gold Logie award, donning a beanie during her acceptance speech in order to raise awareness for brain cancer.
During her time on The Project she endured some frosty interviews with Peter van Onselen, and Sex Pistol rocker Johnny ‘Rotten’ Lydon.
She took a tumble during a live television cross in 2013, and had an embarrassing slip of the tongue when discussing a Qantas story in 2012.
