Melbourne billionaire businessman Adrian Portelli has given his partner a luxury Aston Martin as a “push present”.
Portelli and his pregnant partner, whose identity he has kept private, are due to become parents in January.
She had a lavish baby shower on Sunday with blue balloon decorations and big “Baby Portelli” signage.
“Push prezzie well deserved for putting up with me,’’ Portelli posted on Instagram.
His partner was standing beside the expensive white Aston Martin SUV with her back to the camera.
In July, Portelli held an elaborate gender reveal at his $39m penthouse in East Melbourne.
He flew three planes over the building, leaving blue, purple and yellow ash in their wake.
Portelli, 34, said marriage wasn’t on the cards.
Just last weekend he bought three of five houses on The Block in East Hampton, totalling $12.4m.
He then attended the Melbourne Cup on Tuesday where he met up with winners Steph and Gian, plus sisters Eliza and Liberty, who each walked away with more than a million dollars.
Portelli revealed he’s asked Steph to design the baby’s nursery.
The rich lister has vowed to remove some of the contents from the three homes he purchased before giving them away through his online shopping discounts and giveaway business LMCT+.
“I will take out the contents and I’m happy to film it,’’ he said.
He came under fire for taking out $100,000 worth of items from the fully furnished Gisborne property he bought on the last series of The Block.
He bought that one for $4.25m and the people who won the home, Kevin and Andrea Griffin, said they were dismayed by Portelli’s actions.
He then ran a $1 raffle for all the items that were taken and plans to do it again.
“One in a million person who would complain,’’ he said. “I don’t think anyone who gets these houses is going to have an issue.”
Portelli purchased the $39m penthouse earlier this year and will move in next year. It’s a 57 and 58-level double-storey space near Carlton Gardens.
In May he had his prized $3m McLaren Senna GTR craned up to the lounge room in a delicate operation.
He attracted criticism after saying he’d use the penthouse as a weekender.
He owns 40-plus cars and has given away millions of dollars and cars to members of his LMCT+ business.
