Stephen Coniglio and wife Rebecca have welcomed their first child a year on from their fairytale wedding, while a bunch of other footy players have tied the knot during the off-season.

GWS star Stephen Coniglio and wife Rebecca have welcomed their first child.

The couple posted pictures of their daughter Amira Marietta Coniglio, saying they had been blessed with her safe arrival.

Nathan Kreuger has proposed to Tess Kirsopp-Cole.

The Coniglios married in October last year against the picturesque backdrop of the iconic St Mary’s Cathedral in Sydney.

Also celebrating this off-season is Bulldogs forward Rory Lobb, who pulled off a spectacular proposal to long-time partner Lexi Mary in the Maldives.

Several other footy players have made the most of their time away from the field by tying the knot.

Carlton’s Jack Silvagni and Mitch McGovern have exchanged vows with their partners, as have West Coast’s Andrew Gaff, Gold Coast’s Sam Collins and Adelaide defender Wayne Milera.
