Melbourne billionaire businessman Adrian Portelli has revealed he will become a father next year.
Portelli and his partner are expecting a baby boy.
The pair had an elaborate gender reveal in July at his $39m penthouse in East Melbourne.
He flew three roulettes over the building leaving blue, purple and yellow ash in their wake.
Portelli, 34, is keeping the identity of his partner private – but marriage isn’t on the cards.
He is currently on a buying rampage through Europe and will this week travel through Malta.
He has continued to build his exotic car collection, acquiring a P1 McLaren sports car in London, worth almost $3m, and checking on the progress of his Koenigsegg CC580 in Sweden.
Last week he posted to social media a first look at the Lamborghini Tecnomar 63 yacht he’s having made in Italy. It will take three years to build the vessel and he is also looking at purchasing a 230ft yacht.
“Today I got to take a first look at the build of my Lamborghini Tecnomar 63 yacht over in Italy,’’ he wrote.
“I spent the day finalising the spec and couldn’t be happier. Once it’s done there may be a cheeky euro trip to run her in and then I’ll be bringing it to live on the Gold Coast.”
Portelli, who also visited Monte Carlo during this trip, has hinted there may be more car purchases to come.
Before he went overseas he also bought a new Maybach and is giving away his Bentley. He added a yellow HSV GTS Coupe to his collection and in June he bought a Lamborghini Huracan STO.
He has been driving the P1 through Italy.
Portelli purchased the $39m penthouse earlier this year and will move in next year. It’s a 57 and 58-level double-storey space near Carlton Gardens.
In May he had his prized $3m McLaren Senna GTR craned up to the lounge room in a delicate operation.
He attracted criticism after saying he’d use the penthouse as a weekender.
Dubbed ‘Mr Lambo’ after rocking up in one to The Block, he is expected to be seen on this year’s series and has already indicated he is keen to bid on at least one of the Block properties when they go to auction in November.
Portelli owns more than 20 properties across Victoria, Queensland and Western Australia and is entering into developments in New South Wales.
He owns 40-plus cars and enjoys splashing around and sharing his wealth.
He has given away millions of dollars and cars to members of his LMCT+ tech business.
