Intimate wedding for Tom Lynch and Olivia Burke

The Richmond forward and the marketing executive tied the knot in Melbourne in front of 150 guests.

Richmond star Tom Lynch has married his partner Olivia Burke in an intimate wedding surrounded by family and friends.

The forward and the marketing executive married in Melbourne before 150 guests including many of Lynch’s current and former teammates.

The couple captioned their first wedding picture with “11/11” — the date of their nuptials.

A few weeks ago before the pair attended the Cox Plate as ambassadors, Burke said they couldn’t wait for the big day.

“We’re really excited now, we had the buck’s and hen’s over the weekend,” Burke said.

“I’ll wear two bespoke gowns by Kyha Studios and I saw them for the first time last week – mum and I were crying.”

Burke works for leading designer Kyha Studios and is also a talented jewellery designer.

Two songs that featured during the ceremony were Stand by Me by Florence and the Machine, and This Will Be by Natalie Cole.

Lynch, who part-owns Melbourne Cup second place getter Soulcombe with several Richmond teammates, took to one knee to propose in December last year.

It was during a venture to an inner-city Melbourne dog park with their beloved pooch Gryff.
