There might be no Cyber League manager with more in-depth FQPL3 knowledge than our most recent weekly prize winner, Monny Bailey.
Bailey’s team, with the fan-favourite moniker ‘Kick Ons’, led the Round 11 points standings among eligible teams with an impressive 690 points.
In just the second completed round of a Cyber League season seriously hampered by wet weather postponements, Bailey edged out ‘Off the Pase’ (680 points) and ‘Celebration Crew FC’ (620 points) to take home the weekly prize, a Sea World Pass and Tropical Reef Snorkel package valued at $692, thanks to Village Roadshow.
Bailey is at multiple games every weekend as a freelance photographer and knows the competition and its players like the back of her hand.

“(I signed up for Cyber League) for a bit of fun during the week. I already go to a majority of the games so I thought 'why not?'," she said.
Bailey’s team was led by weekly leading point scorer Josh Squires, who bagged 110 points for his efforts in Round 11.
The ‘Kick Ons’ manager said her pre-season squad selection was predicated on picking a team that would be consistent week to week, and it showed in Round 11. Each of her four position groups scored between 140 and 200 points.
Bailey’s team also rates among the early leading contenders for the overall Cyber League title, though she knows there is plenty of water to run under the bridge just yet.
“I think the second half of the season will be a bit more difficult with the catch-up games, injuries, sickness and the like,” she prophesized.
Entries for the Village Roadshow Theme Parks Cyber League remain open, allowing late starters the chance to win top prizes.
For Round 12 this weekend, Village Roadshow is offering eligible cyber teams a pass for a family of four to Australian Outback Spectacular, valued at $439.96.
It is part of a $16,500 prize pool for the inaugural Gold Coast Football Cyber League, which includes a first prize totalling more than $4500.

ROUND 8 WINNER
Gold Coast Football Cyber League Round 8 prize winner Nao Grati is proof you don’t have to be a local football buff to play well and win big, courtesy of Village Roadshow Theme Parks.
You just need to listen to The Guru.
Reading The Guru’s weekly column, as well as browsing the pre-season Cyber League content is how Grati built her team – PBSC-G – into a title contender, she says.
The proud mum has had a decade-long affiliation with Palm Beach Soccer Club and lamented not being able to pick more than three Sharks players in her team.
That meant broadening her FQPL3 South Coast horizons, and so Grati did her research and built a competitive team, which has now paid off.
With 960 points, Grati earned a narrow weekly prize win ahead of Kick Ons (935 points) and Off the Pase (930 points) in Round 8.
Grati won tickets for a family of four to Australian Outback Spectacular, valued at $439.96.

“I try to keep well across all the Palm Beach players but I could only pick three from the team, which was really hard, so I had to study all the players in the newspaper to pick names from three because I didn’t know most of the players from other clubs,” Grati said.
“I think (the Cyber League) is a great idea. We’ve never had something like this before, so I thought I would give it a go.
“I never thought I would win something, so this is really exciting.”
Entries for the Village Roadshow Theme Parks Cyber League remain open, allowing late starters the chance to win top prizes.
For Round 9 this week, Village Roadshow is offering eligible cyber teams a Sea World Pass and Tropical Reef Snorkel for four people, valued at $692.
The league runs until the end of the FQPL3 South Coast regular season in early August, meaning there are thousands of dollars in prizes up for grabs.
