BE afraid, be very afraid.
One of the Gold Coast’s biggest theme parks has fallen victim to a zombie apocalypse and no one can escape — not even their executive team.
For nine nights across the next two months, Movie World will transform its theme park into a night-time adventure filled with spine-tingling thrills and terrifying entertainment.
WHY YOU MAY NOT COME OUT OF THIS MAZE ALIVE
Even the park’s management team are in on the act, having filmed their promotional video dressed as zombies to celebrate their newest maze, Zombieland Double Tap, which has been inspired by the movie of the saem name releasing in cinemas October 17.

“We did it last year as well, it brings the team together and we really get into it.
“This year is going to be huge … we’re always looking to turbocharge our night events.”
Mr Randhawa said they had released four mazes so far: Horror IP franchises Zombieland Double Tap and Leatherface, as well as their very own Doll Haus and House of Kain.

Their fifth maze — still under wraps — is set to be massive, with Mr Randhawa admitting a lot of work had been done to secure it, working with partners in the US.
He said the final maze, set to be announced on Tuesday, would be of the highest quality and “better than anything you’ve seen anywhere in the world.”
There will be rides open, as well as roving entertainment, panic rooms and a live band performing across the four precincts on the night.
Up to 120,000 people come through the event across the two months.
The first Fright Night is on September 28, with tickets starting at $49.
