A P-PLATER has been charged with high-range drink-driving and a string of other offences after allegedly doing burnouts in a carpark and crashing into three cars over the weekend.

Police say the 18-year-old from North Manly drove his Toyota Hilux Ute into the carpark at Richie Roberts Reserve in North Curl Curl at around 9pm on Saturday night and proceeded to do burnouts.

Alarmingly, with passengers standing on the ute’s tray.

During the burnouts, the driver collided with a car. He then left the carpark and drove along Griffin Rd and then Pittwater Rd where he sideswiped another parked car.

The driver eventually came to a stop after having a rear-end collision with yet another parked vehicle.

Police officers who happened to be nearby spotted the driver on foot and he was submitted to a breath test. He allegedly returned a blood-alcohol reading of 0.180.

Along with drink-driving, the 18-year-old is likely to be charged with aggravated burnout, failure to stop and driving with a passenger in/on part of vehicle not enclosed.
