Reatile Ncube pleads guilty to being accessory in Glenn Walewicz murder

A man will face the ACT Supreme Court after pleading guilty to being an accessory after the murder of a Canberra home in his own home.
Glenn Walewicz, 48, was shot dead in the doorway of his Philip, ACT, residence on the night of June 10 2021.
On Monday, 19-year-old Reatile Ncube faced the ACT Magistrates Court and pleaded guilty to the single accessory after the fact charge against him.
Mr Walewicz’s mother was seen in court during the brief court appearance.
Five people including Ncube are facing charges in relation to Mr Walewicz’s death, which has been described as a “real whodunit” by investigators.
In August, Baradine NSW man Gary Taylor, 24, pleaded guilty to joint commission murder.
An 18 year old, who cannot be named because he was a minor at the time of the offence, has pleaded not-guilty to joint-commission murder.
Holt woman Nicole Williams, 38, has pleaded not guilty to being an accessory to murder after the fact and conspiracy to commit aggravated burglary.
Her son, Jayden Williams, 19, from Glen Innes NSW has pleaded not guilty to being an accessory to murder after the fact.
Ms Williams and Mr Williams have both been committed to face trial in the ACT Supreme Court.
A teenage boy, who was 12 at the time of the incident, has had his joint-commission murder charge dropped by prosecutors.
Ncube is remanded in custody and will appear at the ACT Supreme Court on November 24.
