Hero cop saved man from taking his own life

DESPITE dozens of emergency services and police negotiators, it was general duties officer Arun Trevitt who convinced Dan Price not to take his own life. Mr Price was at the ceremony where the constable received a Pride of Australia medal today.

Family of doctor vow to keep fighting

YOUNG Sydney Dr Chloe Abbott took her own life last year, one of four junior physicians to take their lives in as many months. But rather than be broken by her death, Chloe’s family say they will keep pushing for a change to the “brutal” expectations of the industry.
