Casino High Principal Daniel Moar said the Casino High formal was a fantastic way to celebrate with the year 12 graduates and their parents in what he dubbed ‘the longest year 12 year in history’.

He said students have worked hard to make the most of their opportunities despite the challenges.

Students across the nation endured lockdowns, social distancing, masks and not to mention the restriction of sport and other social activities.

The Casino High formal was coupled with the school’s presentation assembly.

Year 12 graduate Isabella Ennever received several school awards and was also the recipient of the Minister and Secretary’s Awards for excellence in student achievement.

This honour recognises outstanding Year 12 students who have excelled in their secondary years across academic excellence, sports, cultural, community and leadership and was only one of 36 awarded across the state.

“A great achievement for a student who has striven to achieve her best over many years at Casino High School,” Mr Moar said.

“I would like to wish all Year 12 the best in the future and look forward to seeing where their next stage in life takes them.”
