A defence solicitor told the Lismore court Glover suffered from a mental health impairment.

Mr Dakin asked Glover why he was before the court and he replied: “I don’t know.”

However, Mr Dakin continued: “Do you understand that you have been charged?”

“Yes,” Glover replied on that occasion.

The defence lawyer told the court she had no instructions regarding any pleas, however, Glover pleaded guilty to all charges before Magistrate Kathy Crittenden at the Byron court the next day.
