A man has been rushed to hospital after falling from scaffolding in a workplace incident on the state’s north coast.
At about 11am on Wednesday, emergency services were called to a property on Kingsford Drive, Brunswick Heads after reports a man had a bad fall from scaffolding.
NSW paramedics treated the man on scene for injuries to his head and chest before taking him to the Stan Thompson Oval where he was then flown by the Westpac Rescue Helicopter to Gold Coast University Hospital in a serious condition.
Officers attached to Tweed-Byron Police District have commenced inquiries into the incident.
