Ocean Shores man Brett Phillip Glover, 29, pleads guilty to larceny at Lismore after Ellangowan home robbery

A Byron Shire man has admitted to stealing items during a violent home raid south of Casino earlier this year – but three more people have denied being involved.

A Byron Shire man has admitted to stealing items during a violent home raid south of Casino earlier this year.

But three more people have denied any involvement after their arrest.

Brett Phillip Glover, 29, has pleaded guilty to larceny of about $10,000 after initially denying the charge on March 23.

Glover – allegedly with a group including three others from the shire – entered the Coraki-Ellangowan Rd, Ellangowan home and made off with two motorbikes, a generator and “a large amount of power tools” between 5.30am and 11am on February 27.

Glover’s co-accused have pleaded not guilty to charges.

Byron Bay’s Mitchell William Froud, 31, has been charged with one count each of aggravated entering in company with intent to steal, common assault, possessing a prohibited weapon without a permit, using a prohibited weapon contrary to a prohibition order and larceny of about $10,000.

Police allege Froud used a weapon and assaulted a man during the robbery.

Suffolk Park woman, Dannielle Mikellides, 47, has been charged with aggravated entering of a dwelling in company with intent to steal and larceny of about $10,000.

Patricio Gonzalez, 53, has been charged with larceny of about $10,000.

The four were arrested a few hours after the alleged incident, according to police.

Glover is set to be sentenced on July 20 and remains in custody on remand.

The three co-accused have been refused bail.

Their case is down for hearing on February 24 next year.
