Land hugging the Parramatta River at Ermington and Melrose Park will transform from industrial to r4 (high rise) residential if a Holdmark development proposal succeeds. Amending the maximum building height from 12m to a combination of 34m, 45m and 77m (approximately 8, 12 and 22 storeys respectively). Other infrastructure the developer may contribute: New multipurpose community hub that could include creative spaces to be used by the community. 2000 homes to transform waterfront

Almost 2000 apartments, terraces and townhouses will replace factories on two sites facing the Parramatta River as part of an ambitious development to transform the industrial area into a vibrant waterfront neighbourhood.
