Ashleigh Tullis is a reporter for the St George Shire Standard. She covers court, crime, breaking news and a range of other community stories important to those who live and work in southern Sydney. She has previously worked in the Illawarra at a daily masthead and in a weekly community newspaper in south-west Sydney. Ashleigh loves the chase of breaking news, covering a trial and fighting for residents. She grew up in the Sutherland Shire and also spent three-months working for a press freedom organisation in Paris upon finishing university. In 2021, Ashleigh was named a finalist in the Kennedy Awards outstanding regional newspaper journalism.
