“All my friends are married, engaged and have kids. I go around to their place for dinner and I am always like the third wheel, and obviously I cop a lot of sh*t for being single and being a DJ and to them I guess it seems like my life is a bit of a shemozzle.”
He added: “In the scene that I am in, I am in deejaying and stuff, so coming across slappers and club sluts is everyday stuff for me but meeting someone you have a genuine connection with is something you do struggle with in my industry.”
In the same vein as Big Brother, Love Island sees genetically blessed singles living in a Spanish villa on the island of Majorca for the next six weeks.
Eleven contestants entered the show in Sunday’s first episode with ”bombs” entering the villa to spice up the competition.
Twenty seven-year-old Elias has also struggled to find a girlfriend.
“I always thought I didn’t have a type but looking back I definitely like small blonde girls — that’s generally what I go for,” he said.
“I never noticed it until my mates pointed it out.
“I think people generally go for the opposite of what they are.”
