THERE’S far more to life than being really, really ridiculously good-looking — just don’t tell Jordan Barrett.
The chiselled Aussie has just been named the world’s hottest male model at the coveted New York Fashion Week Media Awards — and the 20-year-old is certainly not the shy and retiring type.
Barrett is quickly becoming just as well known for his outrageous behaviour as his immaculately sculpted cheekbones.
The Gold Coast native rubbed shoulder with some of the most famous people in the world in the Big Apple on Saturday.
He was perched alongside the equally glamorous Kendall Jenner and her sister Kim Kardashian-West in the front row after winning his Male Model of the Year gong.
But it was his close relationship with 62-year-old former French Vogue editor Carine Roitfeld that really set tongues wagging.
The pair put on a very public display of affection, with Roitfeld resting her head adoringly on Barrett’s shoulder before they puckered up for the camera — despite her being 42 years his senior.

And the young Australian, who has several tattoos, including the words “Monica Lewinsky” and “0% INTEREST” daubed on his skin, certainly seems intent on cultivating a bad boy image.
Earlier that day, in a series of events that wouldn’t have looked out of place in cult comedy Zoolander, Barrett channelled his rebellious side.
Looking like a clone of Owen Wilson’s character Hansel, his childish behaviour was on full display as he laughed in the face of photographers as he flipped the bird — all while happily puffing away on a cigarette.
The son of a convicted drug dealer, the blond Adonis has shot to international fame over the past two years working for the biggest names in fashion, including Dolce and Gabbana and Versace.
Barrett now turns his nose up at anything less than six figures and enjoys a lavish lifestyle of private jets and A-list parties that is a world away from the modest family home where he was brought up by his single mum Julie.
He’s also been linked to a string of glamorous women including Bella Hadid, Lara Stone and Paris Hilton. And he admits his hard-partying does leave his mum concerned — though he’s not quite sure why.
“I think I’ve proved to them there’s not a lot to be worried about,” he told Stellar magazine earlier this year.
