HE’S only 20 and already Jordan Barrett is looking to his career after modelling.

Arguably the world’s top male model, the former Byron Bay local was the big name drawcard at Fashion Week, walking for men’s label Justin Cassin for what has been rumoured to be a $100,000 fee.

“It is just a term, it is what it is,” Barrett said of being dubbed a male supermodel.

“I am having amazing fun, the travel is one of the best parts. I like working with the photographers and all of the creative people that I get to see on set every day.”

Acting and photography are both areas Barrett is keen to explore.

“I’m looking into everything at the moment,” he said.

“I’m taking pictures in between my jobs. I am not sure what I want to end up doing but right now I love what I am doing.

“There are some really cool things coming up, which is exciting to have finally published. It (the photographs) is all different, not advertising but editorial that I’ve shot with some of my friends and you will see that when it comes out.”

Based in New York, former Sydneysider Justin Cassin wouldn’t comment on how much Barrett was paid other than to indicate it was money well spent.

“If you are going to do it, I think you have to do it right so Jordan is the perfect person for my label,” Cassin said.

“I really respect his career and what he’s done. He’s a Byron Bay boy who is the face of huge campaigns overseas and he is a massive international name so I couldn’t think of anyone better to bring back to Australia to launch my show.”

Barrett’s catwalk style was watched closely by Karl Stefanovic and his new girlfriend Jasmine Yarborough in the front row at Carriageworks.

They later met backstage, with Barrett jumping on to the Nine star to much hilarity - and he posted the snap for his 500,000-plus followers on his Instagram page, called iblamejordan.
