HE has money, good looks and fame, but Australia’s top male model export Jordan Barrett has friends and colleagues worried he may be close to throwing it all away.

At just 20, Barrett is already at the top of his game, modelling for the biggest names in the men’s fashion business, including Tom Ford, Balmain and Roberto Cavalli.

But after a New Year’s weekend in Sydney when he allegedly partied for three days straight, fashion insiders are saying his career could be at serious risk.

Barrett raised more than a few eyebrows when he turned up to a New Year’s Day party on Sunday at Watson’s Bay Boutique Hotel a little worse for wear.

The Gold Coast-born model refused to pose for photos as he smoked on the balcony throughout the day, with one event organiser explaining that he had kicked on for three days.

“Jordan is pretty loose, he’s been partying for days,” one friend of Barrett’s said at the party.

“Apparently it’s been three days.”

Fashion insiders have kept an eye on Barrett.

A fashion industry insider said Barrett’s indulgent behaviour was being noticed. “It has been noted by some in the industry already that he is partying a bit too hard,” they said.

“This type of behaviour may have been cool back in the day, but now no one puts up with it.

The Daily Telegraph reached out to Barrett’s management yesterday but they declined to comment.

Barrett, first made headlines when he was linked to socialite Paris Hilton.
