Celebrity accountant Anthony Bell’s rumoured romance with ex-cricket WAG Annika Martyn

He’s been very quiet since being dragged into the Michael Clarke-Jade Yarbrough circus at the start of the year, but celebrity account Anthony Bell appears to have a new lady love.

Annika Martyn, the ex-wife of retired cricketer Damien Martyn, is the rumoured new girlfriend of Sydney celebrity accountant Anthony Bell.

Martyn has shared a series of happy snaps on social media from the deck of Bell’s superyacht in the south of France, including some where she’s sunning herself in her swimmers.

She’s on holiday with Tonia Taylor, niece of media identity Alan Jones.

“I’m in the South of France, where every twisty road seems to lead to a vineyard, and the locals have a knack for turning croissants into works of art,” Martyn captioned one image. “Welcome to the land of baguettes, berets. So, whether I’m sipping wine, munching on a baguette, or trying to pronounce “anticonstitutionnellement” (yes, it’s a real French word), the South of France will forever hold a special place in my heart and my belly.”

When contacted by Confidential, Bell attempted to pour cold water on suggestions he and Martyn were an item.

Bell is due to return home to Australia over the coming days.

According to her Instagram, Martyn is the founder of Goop Gang Weight Loss program, an international speaker, and specialist in branding strategies.

She was married to her cricketer ex for five years, having wed in 2006.

Martyn recently came out of a long-term relationship and has two children.

Bell, meanwhile, has two children with his ex-wife, former TV presenter Kelly Landry.

Martyn has shared lots of social media snaps from the south of France.

The pair separated a couple of years back, but remain close as they focus on co-parenting their two young daughters.

Initially, their messy split dominated headlines in 2017. They subsequently rekindled before splitting permanently.

“We recently decided we work better as friends (than as a married couple),” Landry said in 2021. “We’ve been separated for a while now.”

It comes after The Daily Telegraph revealed Bell’s close mate Michael Clarke is in Europe with his ex, interior designer Jade Yarbrough.

Bell was caught up in the headlines when Clarke and Yarbrough had a very public falling out in a park at Noosa at the start of the year.

That spectacle also embroiled Channel 9 celebrity Karl Stefanovic and his wife — and Yarbrough’s sister — Jasmine.

Clarke is tipped to make his way to the south of France while in Europe to spend time on Bell’s boat too.
