KELLY Landry and her celebrity accountant husband Anthony Bell are working on a marital reunion just one year after their spectacularly acrimonious separation.

Bell — whose lawyer last year fronted a court to declare Bell did “not want to see his wife again” after she applied unsuccessfully for an interim apprehended violence order — has told friends he dearly wants his family back together.

With Bell living as a bachelor in a clifftop Dover Heights home previously owned by television personality Larry Emdur, it is understood he has been spending considerable time in Noosa with Landry and their children.

Landry is believed to have been looking to buy a new residence in the Sunshine Coast resort town, where she has been living on and off while the couple attempt to reunite.

Both have told friends they are committed to doing the work on their relationship they believe is in the best interests of their two daughters, Thea and Charlize.

Several eastern suburbs sources said there had been a rapprochement after counselling.

The family home at Watsons Bay was sold off market for about $18 million with a replacement found at Dover Heights, when Bell bought from Larry Emdur for $11.5m.

The final piece of the property play saw the Watsons Bay buyers, the Calligeros hotelier family, sell their Vaucluse home for $10.5 million last week through LJ Hooker agent Bill Malouf.

Rumours swirled on January 20 when Landry posted an idyllic photograph to Instagram, showing a man bearing a strong resemblance to Bell at the helm of a pleasure cruiser, while a young girl sunbathed on the bow.

Landry captioned the image: “Saturdays”.

It is not the first time “Kelly and Belly”, as they were once known among Sydney’s party set, enjoyed holidays together.

They hit the snowfields and the Whitsundays last year, Landry apparently as eager as Bell to put their ugly past behind them.

Following one of the nation’s most vitriolic public breakups, the pair jointly hosted drinks at Bell’s palatial Dover Heights mansion — a property bought in his name only in September —— on Boxing Day to watch the start of the Sydney to Hobart yacht race.

Members of Sydney’s yachting fraternity gathered on the clifftop lawn to watch the fleet, minus retired competitor Bell, begin the famous race south and dream big about a future America’s Cup yachting challenge.

Guests would later describe the gathering as a house-warming party but some remained confused by the attendance of Landry, who only a year earlier had texted her husband about suspected infidelity.

Yesterday Bell refused to comment on what now looks to be a hoped-for reunion.
