On Friday watch Wests Juniors play North Lakes and Aspley Hill (under 12s) take on the Victoria Point Himmelberg (under 13s) outfit.

Then on Saturday and Sunday, all 18 games will be livestreamed from the Yeronga Devils AFC.

The grand finals will cap a record season of participation for AFLQ which saw 13,177 juniors compete in the junior competitions.

AFLQ State Manager ‑ Kids, Growth and Diversity, Mark Ensor, said the organisation did not anticipate “such an incredibly strong response’’ following the relaunch of community football after the COVID-19 crisis forced competitions to be cancelled from mid-March.

He said that participation figures exceeded expectations was a measure of the “great set up we have across Queensland with our clubs, officials and volunteers”.

Following’s this weekend’s round of grand finals, livestreaming at www.couriermail.com.au will continue on October 16 and 17 of the AFL Queensland Schools Cup.
