Up 4-1 at one stage TSS looked certain to run away with the match when Terrace showed its class and scored two goals to bring the win within reach.

TSS director of football Joe Dolan said the fightback and potential upset did little favours for his heart, however the team from the Gold Coast would not be denied sealing the deal with a mighty 5-3 victory.

Dolan said a sharp defence was the difference helped along by some stellar individual performances.

Harry King “did his whole family proud” first with a header off a free kick and his second a “fantastic” effort with his right foot to put TSS 4-1 up.

But the clincher came from one Lochie Johnston who secured the fifth goal.

Outnumbered three-to-one he managed to win it off his competition to score and put the game out of reach for Terrace.
