Big Deal Hair could make its comeback as the best hairdresser on the Sunshine Coast with just one day left of voting.
The Sunshine Coast Daily put a call out on its Facebook page to find the region’s best hairdresser and was inundated with nominations.
A whopping 41 hairdressers were listed as finalists, from workers in chain salons to those who’ve started their own home businesses.
Voting opened on Friday and Katie Martin from Big Deal Hair has shot to the top of the leaderboard with 27.27 per cent of the vote.
The Buderim salon won the title of best hair colourist in 2019 and Beerburrum’s Rebel2Rock was given the crown of best hairdresser last year.
Kellie Davison at Nambour’s Knock Knock Who’s Hairdesign and Jess McCleery at Halo of Mooloolaba are in second and third place.
