PASSIONATE clients of a Beerburrum hairdresser voted as the best on the Sunshine Coast travel from across the state for the expert trim.

Rebel2Rock came out on top in the Daily's search for the best hairdresser in the region.

Owner and hairdresser of 35 years Kim Nurney said she was thrilled to hear about their win after not even knowing about the competition.

"I must have had everyone vote and I didn't have a clue," she said. "It's fabulous, awesome, so good."

Ms Nurney said clients travelled from all over, including Noosa and Goondiwindi, to visit the "fashionable retro" salon.

"They also know if they want something different they can come to us and we're not going to give them some sort of perm," she said.

Rebel2Rock delivers "funky" looks to clients of all ages and specialises in bright hair colours.

The salon is located at 1/5 Beerburrum Rd, Beerburrum.
