More details have emerged after a 19-year-old man was killed in a single-vehicle crash at Brooloo over the long weekend.
The teenager died after his car crashed into a tree on a road near the Mary Valley Highway.
Emergency crews were called out at 9.30am on Sunday after a Mitsubishi Lancer was found, crashed into a tree along Mary Valley Road in Brooloo near Rodwell Rd, about 40km south of Gympie, a Queensland Ambulance spokesman said.
Tragically, the 19-year-old man from Bollier was declared dead at the scene.
Police said initial information indicated the crash happened sometime on Saturday night.
It followed a horror 24 hours on the state’s roads.
