A man has died in hospital a week after being involved in a two-vehicle crash in Rockhampton.
The man, aged 82, died from injuries he sustained in a crash between a car and a 4WD towing a caravan on Thursday, July 28, at Koongal.
Police say initial investigations indicate that about 2.20pm, a car was travelling inbound to Rockhampton on Lakes Creek Road when it collided with the 4WD and caravan travelling in the opposite direction.
The man was a passenger in the car and sustained serious injuries.
He was taken to Rockhampton Hospital where he died on Thursday, August 4.
Police say the female driver of the car was also transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, while the driver of the 4WD sustained minor injuries.
The Forensic Crash Unit is continuing its investigations.
