Melanie Plane is the editor of the NT News. Melanie began her career as a sports reporter with the Morning Bulletin in 2012 before moving on to general news, court reporting and digital production. After a two year stint at Mackay’s Daily Mercury, she returned to Rockhampton as deputy editor in late 2019 before being appointed editor in July 2020. She was appointed editor at NT News in August 2023.
