Plans to revamp The Clubhouse at Hervey Bay Golf Club have been revealed.
The 18-hole championship course on the corner of Tooth and Old Maryborough Rd, Pialba, has attracted talented golfers from across the Fraser Coast and beyond since it was established in 1945.
The proposed renovations to The Clubhouse include an extension of the covered function area, as revealed in a development application submitted to Fraser Coast Regional Council.

Other proposed refurbishments include alterations to the kitchen and minor changes to the entry and sports bar areas.
The Clubhouse at the golf club underwent a $1m refurbishment in 2015 by the Hervey Bay RSL and Services Memorial Club.
It is understood the new renovations will also be done by the Hervey Bay RSL.
The application before the council highlights developments made to the site in recent years such as the stand-alone Prop Shop which sells golf equipment.

Along with the clubhouse and 18-hole golf course, the site also occupies numerous golf buggy storage sheds, maintenance facilities, a beer garden and BBQ area and the Pro Shop.
It appears the renovations have been in the works for a number of years, as an application was received by the council for works in 2018.
Part of the development application was submitted to the council again on November 8, 2022, and is currently available on its website.
