After a tough run, a Maryborough man has had a change of luck after he won more than $100,000 in a Lotto draw.

The Fraser Coast resident won the guaranteed first prize in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw on Friday.

“Are you sure I’ve won? Really?” he said when an official from The Lott called to confirm his win.

“I don’t know what to say to that.

“This is going to take a while to sink in.

“In all honesty, I haven’t had a lot of luck recently, but I guess that’s changed now.

“It’s been a tough run, so this means so much to me and is really going to set me up for the future.

“With the cost of living so high, it’s just great to know I’ve got something to back me up.

“It’s peace of mind I haven’t had before.

“I can tell you one thing for sure, we won’t be cooking dinner tonight.

“Thank you so much.”

His winning entry of two random numbers was purchased online at thelott.com.

The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $2.92 million for draw 1605, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $4.14 million for draw 10754.
