75-year-old Dundowran Beach man succumbed to injuries from Eli Waters crash
A vintage motorbike rider has died from injuries suffered in a crash at a busy Fraser Coast intersection.

A motorcyclist involved in a crash a busy Hervey Bay intersection has sadly died.
Police on Saturday said the 75-year-old Dundowran Beach man succumbed to injuries sustained when his motorcycle collided with a Holden sedan on the corner of Maryborough Hervey Bay Road and Fairway Drive in Eli Waters around 7.30am on November 1.
The man had been taken to Hervey Bay Hospital in a serious condition with pelvic and leg injuries and later flown to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital where he died from his injures on November 11.
The driver of the Holden sedan, a 70-year-old Aspley man, was transported to Hervey Bay Hospital following the crash with non-life-threatening injuries.
The QPS Forensic Crash Unit is investigating, and police urged anyone with information or vision relevant to the crash to contact them.
