Bundaberg police call investigate Norville red light hit and run

Bundaberg police have released a photo of a motorcyclist who allegedly hit another vehicle after running a red light, before evading officers.

An alleged traffic offender was in the vicinity of a marked police car when they ran a red light and hit another vehicle, officers say.

In a statement, Bundaberg police said the motorcyclist drove through the red light at the intersection of Walker and Faldt streets, colliding with a vehicle in the intersection before taking off, on Tuesday, December 6 about 6pm.

A marked police vehicle was parked on the side of the road and activated emergency lights and siren.

But the rider failed to stop.

Police are appealing for assistance to identify the rider and motorcycle involved
