Stafford to welcome new Asian restaurant from Farm House team

Winners of Queensland’s best cafe Farm House in Kedron are set to get bellies rumbling in Brisbane’s north side when they launch a new eatery

THEY’VE nourished our stomachs at their award-winning cafe, now the team behind Brisbane’s coveted Farm House in Kedron is opening a new restaurant.

Husband and wife John and Amanda Scott will launch Asian-themed eatery Oh Boy, Bok Choy along Stafford Rd in Stafford next to Brisbane Pet Superstore.

“I’ve wanted to do Asian food for 24 years,” said Mrs Scott, who previously owned Gertie’s in New Farm, Cafe Conti in Wilston, and Milk Bar in Ashgrove, which she sold at the end of last year.

“We wanted to create something fun but also saluting fresh and leaning healthy.”

The restaurant will be largely Vietnamese focused, but with influences from the likes of the Philippines and Malaysia, including a strong plant-based offering and plenty of gluten-free options. Takeaway will also be available.

The couple hopes to fling open the doors to the venue in April. Kitchen Confidential will bring you more details then.
