Open Korea
Korean$$
There's precious little Korean around here, away from the hubs of Strathfield and Campsie, so it's worth remembering this joint when kimchi cravings hit in Camperdown. Mind you, it's one of the few Korean places that charges for the fermented cabbage, the complimentary sides a pared down selection. Korean spring rolls are justifiably their most popular order, a vibrant mix of ham and crunchy fillings in a delicate crepe. Marinated raw beef with egg yolk and grated apple is big on flavour despite being served numbingly cold. A Korean beer will cut the chilli burn of the sizzling squid.
