This large fluoro-lit room is reminiscent of the kind of eatery found attached to a three-star hotel in Ho Chi Minh City, and the 228-item menu is, in the true sense of the word, awesome. Go for the terrific fresh salads (perhaps pawpaw, prawn and pork served with prawn crackers) or any of the five ricepaper wrap dishes, especially the barbecued pork that comes with vermicelli, abundant salad and tangy fish sauce to dip (though they’re a bit stingy with extra ricepaper rounds). Steamboats are popular with family groups, and for intrepid diners there’s jellyfish salad.
