US presidents duel in key midterm swing state

Latrobe, Pennsylvania | Donald Trump urged voters to send a red Republican wave to Congress at this week’s midterm elections, as the biggest names in US politics battled in the key swing state of Pennsylvania, hoping to get their candidates over the line.

At a rally outside Pittsburgh, Mr Trump stumped for Republican Senate candidate, celebrity doctor Mehmet Oz, while across the state President Joe Biden joined Barack Obama to warn a loss for the Democrats at the midterms on Tuesday (Wednesday AEDT) would have consequences for “decades”.
